DENVER (March 28, 2023) – Outdoor Channel’s extreme, off-grid, original, docu-series Life on the Edge will return to the “Wild West of the Last Frontier” – the Aleutian Islands – in 2024 for Season Two. The announcement was made today by Outdoor Sportsman Group Head of Programming Tim Cremin.

Life on the Edge chronicles the lives of fearless homesteaders and daring American entrepreneurs as they live off-the-grid in some of the harshest and most unforgiving terrain in the world.

The show focuses on three adventure-seeking storylines and the people that have opted to live a solitary life in some of the most remote, inaccessible and extreme conditions on the face of the Earth. It is in this exact environment these hearty souls, who built their own infrastructures and life off-the-grid, choose to live in radically different ways.

The series features Americans who have identified this island archipelago as a land teeming with opportunity. The men and women in the show are determined to show the rest of the world new ways of living and working to protect the planet. Whether it is through harnessing the geothermal power of volcanos or off-grid settlers constructing self-sustaining dwellings in the most isolated, beautiful and unforgiving environments, the show and its characters are a range of wild and extraordinary storytellers who call the Aleutian Islands home.
