ALPS OutdoorZ Continues Conservation Support of “Turnin-the-Dirt” with QUWF/AFC

Support of veteran private landowners and private landowners in general, continues with the strong continued support of ALPS OutdoorZ. “QUWF is all about getting it done on the ground, results matter and it takes a strong commitment of turnin-the-dirt for many years to get positive results for wildlife. We are habitat workers, true knuckle busting conservationists who are in the woods, fields and pastures of the 95% of our wildlife habitat that is owned by private landowners in the U.S.” Reflects Craig Alderman of QUWF. “We absolutely cannot do this without the support of true knowledgeable companies that understand wildlife conservation, the commitment to the land and its owners by boots on the ground. The double benefit to ALPS, they make the accessories and equipment we use in the field whether as biologists, foresters, hunters, campers or trail riding enthusiasts” emphasizes Craig. “Our exclusive habitat wagon, made specifically for private land work, is designed to include the ALPS accessories for working in the field from portable tables and chairs, to tents and camping gear for the longer stays” Alderman points out. As working conservation landowners themselves ALPS knows the task at hand, can see the difference QUWF makes on the landscape and how their products enhance the ability of our joint conservation goals for wildlife, clean streams and youth outreach. They understand conservation work is not an easy task, and it has to be long term with good equipment, that holds up under serious use.” Craig concludes.

“We know how QUWF works, we see the results and commitment of a heavy lifting conservation organization totally committed to the land or clean streams and its wildlife. They can supply the range of conservation information but most important, do work in the fields and forests to make it happen along with all QUWF members and chapters. They assist landowners with access and egress roads, fencing and culverts, boundary marking, floods, tornadoes, snow and ice storms as well as the normal field preparations, planting for crops and livestock. We are proud of our Green Badge logo supporting on the ground conservation through QUWF” states Doug Eckelkamp of ALPS OutdoorZ.

“We use all our equipment and supplies hard; ALPS has to be a quality survivor because all of us at QUWF are very active with on the ground habitat work all year long. As the QUWF Chief Biologist I am not known for being easy on any equipment, of any type. ALPS stands strong all the time, knowing they support what we do totally, makes all of us at QUWF and the wildlife we preserve very thankful” explains Nick Prough, Chief Biologist.
