MUCC to Host West-Side Charity Shoot Benefiting Conservation and Youth Outdoors Programs

The Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC) is proud to announce its West-Side Charity Shoot on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Caledonia Sportsman’s Club, bringing together marksmen and outdoor enthusiasts from across the state to raise funds for conservation and youth outdoor education.

This exciting event features a 12-station sporting clays course with 50 challenging targets, open to all skill levels—from first-time shooters to experienced competitors. Participants will compete for top honors, with medals and MUCC gear awarded to the top team, top gun, and top gun runner-up.

The Charity Shoot is more than just a day of fun on the range—it’s a meaningful opportunity to support MUCC’s statewide mission of protecting Michigan’s natural resources and building tomorrow’s conservation leaders through education, advocacy, and hands-on outdoor experiences.

Event Highlights Include:

  • 12-station, 50-target sporting clays course
  • Lunch and ammunition provided
  • Medals and prizes awarded
  • Shotgun loaners available for new shooters
  • Silent auction with premium outdoor items and local donations

“We’re excited to bring together both seasoned shooters and newcomers for a day of camaraderie, competition, and conservation,” said Amy Trotter, Chief Executive Officer at MUCC. “It’s a great way to enjoy Michigan’s outdoors while giving back to the future of our natural resources.”

MUCC is currently accepting sponsors, silent auction donations, and participant registrations. To support or register for the event, visit www.mucc.org/shoot or contact ekopietz@mucc.org or 517-346-6463.
