Castafari Big Game Fishing Seminars Set for Quincy, MA

The 2020 Castafari Big Game Fishing Seminar roles back into town on March 21st and 22nd. This in-depth, hands on seminar series provides offshore fishermen the best opportunity to learn directly from the regions top captains and tackle reps. This is the perfect chance to brush up on rigging, throwing a cast net and learning how to read the water to find fish this coming season. This year's Castafari fishing seminar is being held at the Marriott Hotel in Quincy, MA.

On Sunday, RFA MA Chapter Chairman Capt. Mike Pierdinock, RFA NE Regional Director Capt. Barry Gibson and NOAA Fisheries Brad McHale will be giving an update on bluefin tuna management in the HMS and ICCAT arenas. Learn about what is be proposed at the domestic and international levels for the upcoming bluefin season. This will also be an opportunity for anglers to comment on the current bluefin tuna management approach. Also of interest on Sunday, new for 2020, will be a discussion on offshore wind with Dr. Jeff Kneebone and a representative from an offshore wind developer with plans to build facilities from Cox's Ledge to Nantucket.
