Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors announced that they have received a grant from the DSC Foundation to support their mission to bridge the gap between target shooting and outdoor recreation through their Shooting Sports Outreach Program. Since the inception of this program, PIO has more than doubled the number of events year after year. They currently have 2 full-time Program Coordinators in Kansas, 1 full-time Program Coordinator in Iowa, and 1 full-time Program Coordinator in Wisconsin implementing work to mentor the next generation in the outdoors.
CEO Brittany French said, “We are deeply thankful for the generous support from the Dallas Safari Club Foundation. A big part of their mission is to educate others on conservation of wildlife. With their support we will be able to educate and empower young people in the outdoors through mentorship to ensure that the future of conservation is in good hands.”
