What: The Sisterhood of the Outdoors team will participate in the 20th annual Dressed to Kilt fashion show at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, on Saturday April 1, 2023. Dressed to Kilt is a premier fashion event founded by the late Sir Sean Connery and Sir Geoffrey Carrol that promotes Scottish fashion and honors the military. The theme of this year’s show is “Country Cool—Fashion Outdoors.” This year’s show is a celebration of life, diversity, and the human spirit. The beneficiary of this year’s show is the Navy SEAL Foundation and will be a year of remembrance of Queen Elizabeth II and Sir Sean Connery.
Sisterhood of the Outdoors is a community of women who hunt, fish, and shoot together through organized expeditions that provide a welcoming environment to support new to experienced sportswomen. With a motto of “Become the sportsman you always wanted to be,” the organization believes that every woman can belong in the outdoors and provides the advice, skills, and opportunities to support their journey. This year, Sisterhood of the Outdoors partnered with veteran owned and operated Kryptek to offer the company’s women’s camouflage apparel directly through the SOTO website.
Who: Sisterhood of the Outdoors President Amy Ray, and Pro-staff Meghan Beach and Nikki Copper will take to the runway in the “Hotties Who Hunt” segment of the fashion show wearing the new Kryptek women’s Dalibor Skyfall technical women’s hunting apparel, carrying Orvis hunting and shotgun bags, and sporting custom made Field to Feather Designs earrings.
