Artist Hank Fuller at Pictograph Cave State Park

Earth Day exhibit and sale to be held April 18-21

Pictograph Cave State Park is hosting an Earth Day exhibit and sale of artwork by local artist Hank Fuller from Thursday, April 18, to Sunday, April 21. The event will take place in the visitor center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Pictograph Cave State Park is a site of natural and cultural significance. Prehistoric peoples used the area for generations and left behind artifacts and pictographs, or rock paintings, some dating back over 2,000 years. Much of Fuller’s art relates to the unique landscape and character of the area.

To celebrate Earth Day, other artists, writers, musicians and historians will join Fuller on Saturday and Sunday to give brief presentations and share their own creative interpretations of the area.

Pictograph Cave State Park is located 10 miles south of Billings at 3401 Coburn Road. Parking at this event will be limited and carpooling is encouraged. For more information on the park, please visit: fwp.mt.gov/stateparks/pictograph-cave/.
