This Week on HSCF’s “Hunting Matters” Radio & Podcast

(Houston, TX- November 18, 2021) Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) and “Hunting Matters” welcomes Lance Hendershot, owner of Hendershot’s.

Lance Hendershot is the owner of Hendershot’s, a company based in Hancock, Maryland, specializing in firearms, gunsmithing, load development, firearms transfers and the manufacturing of custom ammunition. Lance has been in the hunting and shooting industry his entire life, having been raised in the family business. He was tutored by his uncle and father on the intricacies of the industry from an early age. Lance attended the University of Utah before joining his father as a partner in the business when his uncle retired in 1997. He has been going strong ever since. When his father retired in 2010, Lance and his wife assumed third generation ownership of Hendershot’s. Two of their daughters also work in the business. Lance has hunted successfully on four continents and loves all aspects of the outdoors. He has served on the board of directors of Safari Club International and also served as a chapter president.

Hendershot’s currently represents several of the most highly respected names in the firearms industry and is well known for their line of “Extreme” custom ammunition. 2021 will mark Hendershot’s 61st year in business.
