DSC Announces Hiring of LisaCausey as Membership & Volunteer Manager

DSC is pleased to announce that Lisa Causey has accepted the position of Membership & Volunteer Manager, effective immediately.

A Life Member of DSC, Causey was a natural fit for the role of Membership & Volunteer Manager, having most recently served as the Facilities and Events Manager with the Communities Foundation of Texas.

“As a lifelong outdoorswoman, it is a dream come true to be able to marry my personal passion with the professional work I will now do on a day-to-day basis, Causey said. “With an almost 20-year history of involvement, membership, volunteering, and past board service to DSC, this was an exciting opportunity to truly combine passion and purpose in my everyday work. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces and meeting new ones in the months and years ahead and working to maximize the membership and volunteer initiatives of DSC to further our mission of Conservation, Education and Advocacy!"

Causey will oversee DSC’s efforts to expand the footprint of DSC Membership and increase Volunteer engagement across all aspects of the organization.

"On behalf of everyone at DSC and DSC Foundation, I could not be happier to welcome Lisa to our team,” stated Director of Operations & Development Brian Fienhold. “As a DSC Life Member and Volunteer for many years now, Lisa brings a well-established passion and commitment to DSC and I am certain she will channel this energy into expanding DSC Membership, while also driving enhanced Volunteer engagement across the organization.”
