Cobra Revolutionizes the Archery Release Category

Cobra Archery has introduced revolutionizing technology with their patented Pinch-to-Close, bodiless wrist strap releases. Gone are the days of the standard large clunky 25 years old design. This innovative design brings together ease of use, minimal parts, and reduced size. This design has no body/frame from which it is built upon. The calipers are the chassis, and the trigger is mounted onto one caliper and through the other, eliminating the release body. Because of its minimal parts design the release is more reliable, rugged, and accurate. Owner & designer Jake Major further described the release “This design is a giant step forward in the demands of today’s bowhunter. There are no delicate parts that can be sensitive to conditions and use. There’s basically 3 parts, a trigger and two calipers guaranteeing it to be the absolute Go-To release when everything is on the line”. The Calipers can be closed numerous ways, but the most ingenious way is to simply pinch the release onto the D-loop. “This style of attachment allows an archer to quickly and easily address the d-loop because it acts like an extension of your fingers” Jake explained. This release is physically small but very strong. The trigger is fully adjustable and can not “load-up” on trigger weight because of the clever radiused surface the roller contacts. Drawing 80 lbs. or 8 lbs. the release performs the exact same. At Cobra Archery they simplify through innovation. This philosophy can be seen in every product they produce.
