Top Scoring Animals from Georgia’s 2021 Whitetail Challenge and 2022 Turkey Challenge Recognized

August 3rd, 2022- APEX Outdoor Rewards recently attended the Georgia Outdoor News (GON) Outdoor Blast in Emerson, GA where thousands of hunting enthusiasts gathered to gear up for the upcoming season. APEX took this opportunity to announce and award the program’s most recent winners from the state of Georgia.

In the fall of 2021 Clifford Flowers took the APEX Rewards title in Georgia in the Whitetail Challenge with a main frame 8-point whitetail buck that grossed 143 1/8”. Flowers harvested the buck with archery equipment on October 31st. The top ten green scores that were registered into the Whitetail Challenge are measured by official measurers to calculate an official gross score. Upon completion of this official scoring, Flowers was awarded Georgia’s first place prize of $5,000. In a close second, with a 138” Georgia buck was Cody Parks who took home $4,000. Also, during the GON Outdoor Blast, APEX named the spring 2022 Turkey Challenge winners. Scott Ingram took the title with a gobbler that scored an incredible 94.0625. Ingram was followed by Anthony Williams, Colton Kersey, Matthew Puckett, and another entry from Colton Kersey which rounded out the top five. All contestants were awarded $500 cash.
