Whitetails Unlimited Grants $16,000 to Monroe City Friends of the Outdoors

Whitetails Unlimited recently granted more than $16,000 to the Monroe City Friends of the Outdoors located in Monroe City, Missouri. The MC Friends of the Outdoors has been active for more than 25 years helping with area youth hunts and shooting teams, such as the Monroe City FFA. The group also awards four to six scholarships annually to graduating seniors.

The main focus of the Monroe City Friends of the Outdoors is a disabled deer hunt they help host during the second week of the Missouri firearm season. The hunt takes place on a private section of the Mark Twain Lake grounds. The area is comprised of 140 acres of food plots and more than 70 handicap accessible blinds.
