SPARTA, IL – Zanders Sporting Goods, a national distributor located in Sparta, Illinois, continues to expand by adding four new employees. Janelle Chapman – assistant sales manager, Chris McVety, Krista Miller and Adam Becker are the latest additions to their expert sales staff.

Janelle previously worked in sales and held several sales manager positions. Her most recent roll prior to starting at Zanders was at Pepsi Mid America as an area sales manager.

“The thing I like most about working at Zanders is the level of training that I have received so far, and the friendliness of my fellow employees. Everyone has been so welcoming to me and I am very impressed by the cleanliness of the facility, and the organization as a whole.,” commented Janelle.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, biking and fishing.

Chris McVety was also added to the Zanders’ sales team. Chris has been in the firearms industry most of his working career where he started out working for his dad at a custom shop. This position eventually lead to building custom night sights for several high profile shooting related companies within the industry.

Chris and his family are huge fans of the outdoors spending time camping and fishing. In the fall he spends time with his kids deer hunting.

When asked what he likes most about working at Zanders Chris replied with, “ The people he works with. From day one he has felt welcomed, and everyone is always available to answer any questions I have. Zanders is very much a family-oriented work atmosphere and the staff is always willing to go above and beyond to help each other out,” Chris commented.

Zanders also hired Krista Miller. Krista’s previous job was at Kinsey’s where she started out as a sales rep then transitioned into sales management position.

Krista is an avid turkey and whitetail deer hunter and enjoys making turkey calls in her free time.

“Zanders exudes a high level of trust in their team to get the job done”, mentioned Krista. They have 100% faith in the processes they have in place and in their employees to execute on their roles and responsibilities day in and day out.

Rounding out this latest new hire team Zanders brought on Adam Becker. Adam also worked at Kinsey’s and has held several sales and account management roles during his working career. Adam is an avid outdoorsman who’s number one passion is bowhunting in the fall. He also enjoys trout fishing and searching for morels in the spring time.

“Zanders’ reputation for treating their employees well and allowing them the ability to work closely with dealers and thus build long lasting relationships with them is what lead him to Zanders,” commented Adam.
