Michigan Natural Resources Commission to meet April 11

The agenda for the Natural Resources Commission meeting Thursday, April 11, has been posted to the NRC website at Michigan.gov/NRC.

The meeting will be held at MSU's Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, 4125 Beaumont Road, Lansing.

To register for public comment, please contact Cheryl Nelson, executive assistant to the commission, by calling 517-284-6237 or emailing nelsonc@michigan.gov. Those registering by 5 p.m. today, April 5, will be allowed up to five minutes to address the commission. Those registering after April 5 or at the meeting will be allowed up to three minutes. Registration cards also will be available at the meeting.


The Michigan Natural Resources Commission is a seven-member public body whose members are appointed by the Governor, subject to the advice and consent of the Senate. The commission conducts monthly public meetings in locations throughout Michigan. Citizens are encouraged to become actively involved in these public forums.

The commission has exclusive authority to regulate the taking of game and sport fish and is authorized to designate game species in Michigan.
