Little Grassy Dam Safety Modification Study Update meeting Little Grassy Lake Dam Safety Modification Study information, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with technical support from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be hosting a Dam Safety Modification Study update meeting on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Carterville Community Center, 120 North Greenbriar Road, Carterville, Illinois 62918, to discuss the on going Dam Safety Modification Study for Little Grassy Lake on Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge.

This meeting will include a presentation to discuss the purpose of the study, the status and progression of the process, and what the next steps will be. Illinois Department of Natural Resources will also be attending to provide updates on the future lake fishery.
