There is still time to submit public comment for proposed Wyoming Game and Fish Department regulation changes, which close June 10. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will hold a final discussion for approval of these changes during its July 15-16 meeting in Casper.

The July Commission meeting, which was originally scheduled to take place in Evanston, has been moved to Casper in order to better accommodate the public. The meeting will take place July 15-16 at the Ramkota Convention Center, 800 N Poplar St. in Casper.

The comment period is still open regarding proposed changes to the following regulations:

• Proposals to establish rules governing watercraft registration, safety equipment requirements, and operation in the state — Chapter 22, Watercraft Regulation.

• Recommendations to set mountain lion mortality limits, and modify mountain lion hunting seasons — Chapter 42, Mountain Lion Hunting Seasons.

• Proposed changes to the Landowner License regulation (Chapter 44, Section 8) to enhance clarity for landowner license qualification and provide more balance to license draws, addressing how evolving landowner dynamics affect sportspersons' opportunities while maintaining the exchange for providing habitat resources — Chapter 44, Regulation for Issuance of Licenses, Permits, Stamps, Tags, Preference Points and Competitive Raffle Chances.

• Comprehensive updates to statewide fishing regulations aiming to clarify definitions, streamline interpretation, and adjust specific rules based on biological needs and angler feedback — Chapter 46, Fishing Regulations.

• Recommendations to set gray wolf mortality limits, and modify mountain lion hunting seasons — Chapter 47, Gray Wolf Hunting Seasons.
