The Primos Purdey Auction and Conservation Campaign
Primos's connection to this event is through the recently announced "The Truth About Conservation,” a groundbreaking public awareness campaign and firearm auction headlined by five Purdey hammer shotguns from Primos’ collection. This initiative will raise critical funds for conservation efforts through the sale of the collection – a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The exceptionally rare and unique firearms, including .410, 28, 20, 16, and 12-gauge sequentially serial-numbered shotguns, are from Primos’ personal collection.
Funds raised will go directly to supporting science-based habitat management and advancing the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation. The effort not only benefits hunters and anglers but also ensures healthy landscapes, abundant wildlife, and sustainability for future generations.
“It dawned on me one day how important habitat is to everything we value in the outdoors,” shared Primos. “I wanted to give back in a way that would make a lasting impact. That’s when I realized the true purpose of this gun collection – it’s about doing great work for conservation.”
Proceeds from the auction, scheduled for December 5-7 through Rock Island Auction, will benefit five leading conservation organizations dedicated to supporting habitat management and wildlife conservation. Recipients include the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever.
