Indiana: Learn paddling techniques at Mississinewa Lake

Learn canoe paddling techniques at the Paddle the Mississinewa workshop on Aug. 26.

The program will run from 9 to 11 a.m.

Participants will be notified of the meeting location when they register.

All equipment, including canoes, will be provided. The number of canoes is limited. Those who have their own canoes or kayaks, personal flotation devices and other equipment are welcome to bring them. 

This program meets some requirements for the following scout merit programs: Bear Scout, Salmon Run Bear Adventure and Safety Afloat; Wolf Scout, Safety Afloat; Webelos Scout, Aquanaut.

Advance registration is required by calling 260-468-2127. A $3 fee per participant is payable the day of the event.
