Cranbrook, British Columbia — The 2025 Lapua Monarch Cup has officially kicked off with an unforgettable first leg held in conjunction with the Dominion of Canada NRA National Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Championships at the stunning Bull River Shooters Association. Against the backdrop of British Columbia’s scenic beauty, world-class competitors from across North America gathered to test their marksmanship and mental grit in the most prestigious smallbore silhouette series on the continent.

Canada’s own Justin Marsh emerged victorious, delivering an exceptional performance by hitting 105 out of 120 targets — all shot off-hand at distances ranging from 40 to 100 meters. Hot on his heels was Team SK’s Jake Stine, finishing second with an impressive 104, followed closely by Team Lapua’s Cathy Winstead-Severin and Erich Mietenkorte, who claimed third and fourth with 103 and 102, respectively.

Rounding out the top spots, the Marsh family continued to dominate the leaderboard, with Jordan Marsh, Jason Marsh, and Kalvin Marsh placing fifth through seventh. Paul Davis secured eighth, while Mexico’s Nancy Leal delivered a strong performance to finish ninth, showcasing the international strength and diversity of the competition.
