Buddy DuVall New CMO for USA Shooting

Colorado Springs, Colorado- USA Shooting announces the hiring of Buddy DuVall as Chief Marketing Officer effective January 1, 2021. In his new role, DuVall will oversee USA Shooting’s marketing effort, partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising to support USA Shooting athletes at the highest level.

With more than 30 years of sales, marketing, and fundraising experience, DuVall previously spent 10 years with USA Shooting as Director of Marketing and Executive Director of the USA Shooting Team Foundation from 2004-2014. During DuVall’s tenure, more than $7M in support was generated for athletes and programs through corporate partnerships, fundraisers and individual contributions.

“Buddy has been associated with the US Shooting Team for nearly 35 years, and respected throughout our extensive network of sponsors, donors and partners” said Matt Suggs, USA Shooting CEO. “I’m thrilled to have him back at USA Shooting.”

A former National Team member and pistol shooter, DuVall represented the U.S. in more than 40 World Cup and international competitions and last competed internationally at the 2002 World Championships.

DuVall hopes to build upon his extensive experience as both an athlete and a leader to make a difference for USA Shooting athletes.

“One of the things that drew me back to USA Shooting was knowing firsthand the positive impact that participating in shooting sports has on its athletes, regardless of the level of success achieved,” said DuVall. This is an opportunity to give back to sport that has meant so much to me personally by playing a role in the development of future generations of champions and shooting sports ambassadors.”

DuVall is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and currently resides in Georgia.
