Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world’s most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce that Pro Shooter Morgun King has won the Precision Rifle Series’ Golden Bullet Award. It was presented to him at the 2025 PRS Pro Series Finale last weekend in Tremont, Pa.
The Golden Bullet is awarded annually to the PRS Pro Series points champion and recognizes a season’s worth of championship-caliber performance. King won three individual events during the 2025 season leading up to the Finale: the 2025 Thunderbeast Arms Co. King of Coal Canyon in Raton, N.M., the Impact-Foundation PRC in Wetumka, Okla., and the Cali Sharpshooter Showdown in Cambria, Calif. His performance in the Finale helped him secure his first Golden Bullet.
“The Golden Bullet is the goal, every season, for anyone shooting the Pro Series on the PRS tour. After all the years of chasing it, I’m proud to finally bring one home. It represents everything I put into my shooting and is a testament to the hard work and relentless commitment it takes to perform at this level.,” King said. “Leupold has been with me for the journey, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. To compete against the guys I have to shoot with, I need gear that’s designed from day one to win. That’s what I get in my Mark 5HD.”
King uses the Mark 5HD, featuring a PR2-MIL reticle, in competition.
The Mark 5HD redefines accuracy, precision, and optical performance for long-range shooters. Pick one up and you’ll feel the difference: it’s up to 20 ounces lighter than other scopes in its class. Get behind one and you’ll see the difference, from its superior edge-to-edge clarity to its extreme low-light performance. With three revolutions of elevation adjustment, the Mark 5HD was made to max out the performance of the latest long-range rifles and ammunition. It features Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System, which offers unmatched light transmission that’s designed to outperform in the most challenging lighting conditions, industry-leading glare reduction for a clear image in harsh, direct light, and the resolution and clarity that professional guides and shooters demand in the field.
The game-changing PR2-MIL reticle that most Leupold Pro Shooters are using in competition, meanwhile, was developed with input from the country’s top competitors and professional shooters. PR2 reticles are specifically designed for long range speed and precision. Designed to excel in the competitive space, the PR2-MIL reticle puts the best possible long-range competition reticle in the best long-range competition riflescope on the market.
“We designed the PR2-MIL reticle to reduce clutter, simplify your shooting process, and improve anyone’s long-range shooting performance,” said John Snodgrass, Tactical Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “It has become the reticle of choice for shooters in competitive circuits across the country, from PRS to the NRL Hunter tour.”
