Michigan Stargazing: A stellar state park tradition

Michigan state park stargazing is a popular tradition, one started 100 years ago with the establishment of the first state park. You can enjoy the exceptional night sky during International Dark Sky Week, March 31-April 7, at state-designated Dark Sky Preserves located within six state parks. Or, simply, enjoy the sky above the more than 15,000 square miles of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula!
