The CZ Shooting Team celebrated a landmark performance at the 2025 Excaliber Ammunition US IPSC Nationals, held August 22–24 at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio. Against hundreds of top shooters from across the U.S. and around the world, the team secured five gold medals across multiple divisions, proving once again why CZ firearms are trusted by champions.

Leading the charge was nine-time World Champion Eric Grauffel, who claimed the top spot in the Production Optics division with his CZ Shadow 2 Orange OR. Adding to the family’s legacy, his son Robin Grauffel captured victory in the Junior category, also running the CZ Shadow 2 Orange OR. Teammate Edcel John Gino of the Philippines also impressed, finishing fourth overall in Production Optics among a highly competitive U.S. field.

In the Production division, Argentine standout German Romitelli dominated with a perfect 100% score using his CZ Shadow 2 Orange. Czech shooter Martina Sera claimed gold in the Open Lady category with her CZ 75 TS Czechmate, while her teammate Robin Sebo held strong against 157 shooters in Open to finish fifth overall. Veteran Petr Znamenacek rounded out the medal haul, taking gold in the Standard Senior category with the CZ TS 2 Orange.

For U.S. audiences, the Nationals also served as a preview of what to expect at the upcoming IPSC Handgun World Shoot in South Africa this September, where the CZ Shooting Team will once again represent the brand on the biggest stage in practical shooting.
