The unique design of the Protector S3 allows the owner to remove or add the metal clips at the front of the holster, switching between inside (IWB), or outside (OWB) the waistband carry.

Versacarry believes a holster should protect the user from sharp edges, while protecting the gun from sweat and direct contact with skin. The Protector S3 accomplishes both of these goals with a raised leather backing that acts as a shield to protect both the user and firearm.
Before and after using a leather holster, there may be too much or too little tension. To overcome these issues, Versacarry includes a screw located at the top of the holster that can be used to either tighten or loosen the tension as needed.
