The Best in Campground winner of Spring Mill State Park’s annual campsite decorating contest held Oct. 3 this year was Vicki Chastain of Bedford.

The award was provided by Root’s RV and Lawrence County Tourism. Root’s also provided the other first-place awards, and Spring Mill Inn provided the second-place prizes.

The Scariest Site winner was Steve and Jill Byers of Bedford, and second place went to Gene Russell of Mitchell. In the Autumn Harvest category, first place went to Pat and Christy Polston of Clarksville, and second place went to Jedd and family of Mitchell. Most Creative Pumpkin was won by Jessy, Micah, Mel, and Keenan of Indianapolis. Scariest Pumpkin went to Jeff, Sabrina, and Britney Schneider of Danville.
