MTM Case-Gard, the first name in innovative polymer-based solutions for shooting and hunting enthusiasts, is excited to announce that the company has hired outdoor industry veteran Klay Maynard as its new National Sales Manager.

Maynard comes to MTM Case-Gard with an impressive resume in outdoor product sales — a history that began before he was out of high school.

“My dad worked for Berkley when it was just Berkley back in the 1980s,” said Maynard. “As a kid, I would go to dealer events and distributor shows with him, and that is how I started forming relationships in the industry.”

After completing college, Maynard worked international sales for an OEM car manufacturer supplier for a few years, but he never left the outdoor segment.

“During this time,” Maynard continued, “I was still helping my father as an Ambassador for, then, Pure Fishing.”

Maynard eventually went to work for Pure Fishing in 1998 as a District Sales Manager. This position was followed by a stint as a Sales Representative for Beretta, co-owner of Maynard Outdoors, and, most recently, a Sales Representative for Sportco Marketing.

In his new role as National Sales Manager, Maynard will manage all sales efforts and initiatives for the MTM Case-Gard brand.
