Indiana: family fun shooting range event at Kingsbury FWA

Bring the whole family to Kingsbury Fish & Wildlife Area’s Family Night at the Range on Wednesday, June 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. CT. The event is designed to teach families the basics of shotgun safety and operation.

No shooting experience is necessary to participate. Experienced shotgun instructors will teach proper form and ensure that safe shooting procedures are followed. Attendees will be able to come and go from the event.

Firearms, ammunition, and eye and ear protection will all be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment if they have it.

An adult must accompany anyone under the age of 18. For safety reasons, participants must be at least 8 years old.

The Kingsbury FWA shooting range is at 5344 South Hupp Road, La Porte, IN, 46350. Please note, to access the shooting range, take County Road 500 South and turn right at the ‘T’. There are signs present which will you direct you to the shooting range. .
