Buds Gun Shop Names New Chief Marketing Officer

Buds Guns Shop & Range, one of the country’s leading retailers of firearms, ammunition, and accessories, announces that Steve Reed has joined the company to serve as Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, Reed will be responsible for the development of the company’s overall marketing strategy and direction.

For the past five years, Reed has served as Vice President of Marketing for firearms manufacturer Daniel Defense where he led all marketing and branding efforts. Prior to that, he served in the same capacity for shooting sports distributor AcuSport. In his nearly 30-year marketing career, he has gained extensive experience in brand management, advertising/communications and strategic planning having also worked in the consumer-packaged goods and healthcare industries. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University.
