Registration Open for 2022 Shooting Sports Showcase

Johnstown, PA – Leaders of the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA), the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA), and the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) have again partnered to host an industry-exclusive event at the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s Talladega Marksmanship Park in Talladega, AL, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. The Showcase gives firearms industry representatives a day to showcase new products to dealers, wholesalers, and members of the media at one of the most impressive shooting venues in the country.

POMA Executive Director Thomas MacAulay said, “The feedback from last year inspired us to start working immediately on what we intend to make an annual event. Everyone loved the Park and being able to spend quality time with each other exploring new firearms, ammo, and related products. This year we’re adding a meet-and-greet the night before the Showcase.” MacAulay went on to say he envisions the exponential growth of the event as more people learn about the spectacular location and the opportunities at hand.

“NASGW is excited to be a part of the second Shooting Sports Showcase,” said Kenyon Gleason, president of NASGW. “People are eager to be together again and to celebrate our industry’s current success and bright future. The Shooting Sports Showcase is a fun, productive, and efficient way to do so.”

SEOPA Executive Director said, “Last year, each partner, sponsor, exhibitor, and participant brought something special to the Showcase, proving that good things can happen in a relatively short period of time when like-minded people with a common passion combine their skills for the greater good.”
