Leupold Wins 10th Consecutive Optics Manufacturer of the Year Award from Sporting Goods Wholesalers Group

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world’s most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as the Optics Manufacturer of the Year by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW). Leupold received the award on Oct. 20 at the Annual Appreciation and Caliber Awards during NASGW’s virtual Expo and Annual Meeting.

The announcement marks the 10th year in a row that Leupold has been named Optics Manufacturer of the Year. The Beaverton, Ore. company has claimed the Optics title in each of the ten years that NASGW has presented “Manufacturer of the Year” awards.

Candidates for Manufacturer of the Year awards are evaluated by the wholesaler members on four criteria: distribution policy; marketing, sales and promotion; logistics and operation; and NASGW and industry support. The comprehensive assessment of manufacturer performance is designed to provide a balanced appraisal that recognizes the best of the best, according to NASGW distributor members.
