Nashville, TN--Outdoor industry notables gathered in Nashville, Tennessee, for the annual Legends of the Outdoors induction ceremonies aboard the spectacular General Jackson Showboat August 17.

This year's Ray Scott Trailblazer Award recipient was Chris Dorsey, long time magazine editor, book author and television host and producer. Dorsey and his wife Amy founded Dorsey pictures more than 20 years ago and have helped create and launch 56 outdoor television series for numerous networks and nearly an equal number of series for mainstream television networks (see video bio here: https://vimeo.com/355200967).

"Dorsey was an obvious choice for the award given his many accomplishments and contributions to the outdoor industry and conservation," said Garry Mason, founder of the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame.
