As part of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Get Out and Fish! program, we will be stocking 4,400 pounds rainbow trout in 13 community ponds across the state on Tuesday, January 14 and 21. We will have staff available at the Kiroli Park location for interviews.
What : 400 pounds of rainbow trout ranging from 1-2 pounds.
When : Tuesday, January 14 at Noon.

Who : Anyone who likes to catch fish! These are the perfect size for dinner. Anyone 16 or over must have a valid fishing license.
Why : The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries would like to make it easy for families to be introduced to a successful fishing trip. These fish are easy to catch and the pond is near several neighborhoods, so we hope this will be an easy opportunity for families to get hooked on fishing.
