Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) welcomes writer Chad Boles to Hunting Matters, HSCF’s official podcast.
Chad Boles is the President and Founder of Canary Media, LLC, a writer, outdoor enthusiast, and history buff currently living in Atlanta, Georgia. A native of Milton, Florida, Chad has called Atlanta home since the 1996 Olympics. At 57, he shares his life with his wife and their beloved rescue dog. A passionate hunter and angler, Chad pursues elk, deer, dove, and quail, and spends countless hours fishing inshore, nearshore, and offshore—whether from a kayak, a boat, or the shore—with a fly rod or spinning reel in hand. His latest collection of vivid and poignant adventure stories, Adrift in Skinny Water, explores the rich emotional landscape of the outdoors: friendship, loss, reflection, adrenaline, and the power of nature to heal. From fly-fishing for bones and barracuda to horseback elk hunts and biathlon competitions, Chad’s tales are as soulful as they are thrilling.
