As a son of Virgil Denton (owner partner) of Blue Ridge Marketing, Champ grew up in and around the outdoor industry.

Being part of a family that enjoys the outdoors, Champ is an avid sportsman who loves to hunt, fish and trap.

Champ graduated in 2008 from Montgomery Community College in NC with an associate degree in Gun Smithing Science.

After graduating he worked five years for The Great Outdoors /Sports Inc dealer in Cherryville, NC as their head gun smith he also assisted them in the archery department as a bow technician.

Since 2013 he has worked as the gun division supervisor for TMT – Toner Machining Tactical where he was responsible for fabrication, assembly, and firearms development.

Champs knowledge of firearms will be a huge asset for our group and our gun related manufactures said James Hopkins (owner partner) of the group.

I also believe his customers will appreciate the added benefits of a representative with his firearms & retail background.
