Mission® Crossbows Sweeps the Podium in Vegas

Sparta, Wisconsin – For the second year in a row Mission Crossbow shooters kicked off their tournament season with a clean sweep of The Vegas Shoot.

The Vegas Shoot is one of the premier archery tournaments in the world, with over 3,500 competitors divided into 27 divisions and classes. Crossbow competitors shoot three rounds throughout the weekend for a total of 90 arrows. The best score possible is a 900.

Daniel Zintgraff took top honors shooting an 894 59X, Sammy Closser took second with an 890 50X and Dylan Burg finished third with a score of 889 52X. All three competitors were shooting the Mission SUB-1, once again proving it is the world’s most accurate crossbow.

“The guys picked up right where they left off last year,” said Tanya Thurow, Category Manager. “They’re really demonstrating the accuracy and consistency of our crossbows, and we’re proud to have them on our team.”

The tournament trail continues this weekend in Foley, Alabama with the start of the outdoor target season. ASA and IBO tournaments test shooter’s skills on 3D targets of various species. These highly competitive tournament circuits tour around the country and feature some of the best shooters in the world.
