X10 Archers Sweep Gold in Season-Ending World Cup Finals

With 11 of 12 total medals and all four Gold Medals, competitors shooting Easton X10 had an incredible finish to the 2023 World Outdoor competition season in an action-packed weekend in Hermosillo, Mexico. The season ender brought the top competitors from the World Cup events held in China, Turkey, Colombia, and France to Mexico for the televised finals, with 30 of 32 finalists in men’s and women’s compound and recurve shooting X10 and X10 Pro Tour arrows continuing the incredible record since the beginning of the World Cup circuit in 2006 winning 97% of titles in the past 17 years.

In men’s compound, Danish sensation, Matthias Fullerton, took the title in a dramatic shoot-off, while Colombia’s Sara Lopez scored an incredible 8th World Cup title, cementing her position as the most-successful compound woman in the sport. Sara and Matthias used the Easton X10 Pro Tour compound shaft for their wins.

In recurve action, with less than a year left before the Paris Olympic Games, world number-one ranked archer, Marcus D’Almeida, took his first Hyundai Archery World Cup title after beating top-seeded Korean Lee Woo Seok in the gold medal match.

Nine years after his first World Cup medal, the Brazilian claimed gold with a brilliant 6-4 victory over the Korean archer, who had beaten him in the Paris semifinals last month. In the women’s recurve final, Korea’s Kang, Chae-Young took gold over Mexico’s star Alejandra Valencia, giving Ms. Kang her second World Cup Final win in four years. Every recurve competitor in the World Cup finals shot the made-in-USA X10—the most-winning arrow shaft in modern history.
