Dianna Muller, D.C. Project Foundation founder and match organizer said, “We saw loads of smiles and received a lot of positive feedback on the match. Not only was it a grand time on the range, but the money raised will go directly toward our advocacy work on The Hill. For the first time, we’re able to help the women who donate their own time and money to preserving and protecting the Second Amendment, by covering the cost of their lodging.”
Founded in 2015, the nonpartisan D.C. Project Foundation gathers women of all ages and backgrounds from every state in the country to Washington, D.C. where they meet with legislators on Capitol Hill, share their stories of Second Amendment advocacy, and build a bridge of communication on behalf of all gun owners.
In addition to the challenging and exciting course of fire, the inaugural D.C. Project Team Match was highlighted by a full-auto experience for participants as well as a fun-filled ‘BANGquet’, entertainment, live auction, and raffles. “With the tremendous support of our sponsors, competitors collected some truly awesome firearms and shooting gear,” said Muller. “Backing from the sponsors made it a weekend to remember.”
