Indiana: Spring Mill hosts garlic mustard pull April 13

Help get rid of invasive species while possibly earning a free pass to Spring Mill State Park for the rest of 2019 at the park’s garlic mustard pull on April 13 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Invasive species are a threat to the plant diversity that Spring Mill is dedicated to preserving, and this event at the end of National Volunteer Week is geared toward weeding at least one species out. Whoever pulls the most, by weight, at 11 a.m. will win a free 2019 park pass.

Meet at the pool parking lot with a pair of gardening gloves before 9 a.m. to participate.

Spring Mill State Park (on.IN.gov/springmillsp) is at 3333 State Road 60 East, Mitchell, 47446.
