The Buckmasters Expo, presented by Mountain Dew, returns to the Montgomery Convention Center August 15-17 for its 30th year. This milestone event remains one of the most highly anticipated outdoor shows in the Southeast, offering a full weekend of family-friendly fun, hunting gear, entertainment, and more.
Admission to the Expo is free with a canned food item or $1 donation benefiting the Friendship Mission and Salvation Army. Thanks to the support of both local and national sponsors, Buckmasters is proud to continue offering this low-cost event to the community.
Show Hours:
Friday, Aug. 15: 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Expo will feature more than 300 booths offering a wide range of hunting and outdoor products. From hands-on gear demos to exclusive show specials, the Expo is the destination for hunters, families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Outdoor celebrity appearances include Macy Watkins, Aly and Cody Hall, and Bama Grill Master Tim Van Doren.
Returning for its fourth year is the Bulls & Buckmasters professional bull riding show, taking place Friday and Saturday nights. Admission is free, and seating is first-come, first-served. Show times are 8-10 p.m. on Friday and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday. Additional Expo highlights include:
– Top Bow Indoor Archery Tournament
– Young Bucks Ballroom — a kids’ activity zone featuring a mechanical bull, face painting, balloon artists and Italian ice
– Official Buckmasters antler scoring — free rack measurements by certified scorers
– Free rides on the Harriott II Riverboat along the Alabama River (Saturday and Sunday)
– Food trucks and local vendors
The Buckmasters Expo is designed to be a fun experience for the whole family, blending the excitement of the outdoors with meaningful community support.
