35th Annual Episode of Deer Hunt Wisconsin Debuts This Week

The 35th annual episode of "Deer Hunt Wisconsin," hosted by Dan Small and produced by Small and Mark LaBarbera, debuts this week on FanDuel Sports Wisconsin and North, PBS stations, and Wisconsin Community Media stations. This year's show features successful bow and rifle hunts, Wisconsin's unique white deer population, drone deer recovery, updates on Chronic Wasting Disease and Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease, non-toxic ammunition, and a hunting forecast for each region of the state. The show also visits a traditional Northwoods deer camp; attends the annual Jordan Buck Day celebration of the former world-record buck shot by Jim Jordan in 1914; talks with students, teachers, and mentors at two Midwest Outdoor Heritage Education Expos; and features the chilling story of a bowhunter who narrowly escaped death from a treestand fall. A complete broadcast schedule is posted at https://www.facebook.com/deerhuntwi. The show's eight segments and a full director's cut are posted at https://www.youtube.com/@DeerHuntWisconsin.

"Deer Hunt Wisconsin" is sponsored by Conservation First Bank; Creek Bottom Land Management; EHD-fense; Hawkeye Rescue and Imaging; Hunting Beast Gear; MEC Outdoors; Milwaukee Sports Show; Outdoor Lifestyles; Outdoor News Publications; SCI Badgerland, Northeast Wisconsin, and Wisconsin chapters; Serpent Arms; Stormy Kromer; Swift Lift; Wild Eagle Lodge; Waukesha County Conservation Alliance; Wildland Properties Land and Homes; Wildlife Research; Wisconsin Hunter Education Instructor Association; and Vortex Optics.
