QUWF Signs Long Term MOU with CofO

Buffalo, MO: “The Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation (QUWF) signed a long-term MOU with the College of the Ozarks (CofO), to help students studying conservation and wildlife management obtain the support and funding needed to complete a four-year education” states Craig Alderman of QUWF. “We must invest in those who are to carry on the legacy, passion and lifestyle of our conservation, wildlife and clean streams. Further, those educational institutions that respect our countries history and rich heritage have to be lifted up and strengthened. CofO is rated number one in small Christian colleges in the U.S. and what is most unique, and exceptional, students work their way through college with no fees and no debt when they graduate. CofO accepts no state or federal funding. CofO relies on donations to cover all costs of the college including all tuitions and expenses for the students.

“Known as Hard Work University, CofO students further learn about our country, its patriotism, the pride of our flag and what it means to respect those who earned our freedom” reflects Alderman. “As a veteran in today’s world this is a college we want to support and I give heartfelt thanks to. The beauty is, as a company, our chapters, individual members and sponsors can join with us to provide scholarships and endowments for generations to come, we invite them to contact us and help provide conservation for future generations. Children of veterans and all others will be eligible for the QUWF-CofO support.

Students with the most financial need are given the highest priority, though the college is open to all students across the country to apply.

“We are very excited about the support of QUWF for our students and for the basic principles we employ to create great citizens, dedicated conservationists and wildlife managers through the staff and facilities at CofO” states Natalie Rasnick, Dean of Development. “Without this type of support, our College could not be the best it is. We also look forward to the integration of internships where possible, assistance in educational support with current conservation and wildlife knowledge and research with QUWF” Natalie concluded.

The Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation (QUWF), based in Buffalo, is the only Veteran founded and managed national conservation organization in the U.S., and the only multi-specie and clean stream national organization based in Missouri.
