United Sporting Companies Announces Voluntary Chapter 11

Chapin, S.C. – United Sporting Companies announced today it will be filing for voluntary relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code today June 10th, 2019 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Chapter 11 is a legal process that will allow United Sporting Companies the opportunity to continue to an orderly wind-down of its affairs while the company attempts to identify a qualified buyer who is willing to continue the investment in United Sporting Companies’ workforce and its relationships with the customers, vendors, and suppliers.
