Legacy Conservation Partners Launches

Columbia, S.C. – Today marks the official launch of Legacy Conservation Partners (LCP), a sales and marketing group dedicated to working hand in hand with conservation and recreational groups in the outdoor, hunting, fishing, camping and shooting sports categories. While there are many professionals and agencies in the industry working to connect manufacturers and retailers, as a stand-alone branch of Outtech, Inc., LCP is the first firm that is 100% dedicated to working to join manufacturers and retailers with conservation and non-profit groups on national, state and even local levels.

As the political environment continues to put pressure on these organizations, financial support from Washington cannot be relied upon. These groups work feverishly to secure access to land and water for preservation and recreation and ensure that species populations are thriving. Further support for these organizations is needed to navigate the ever-changing environment that affects the outdoor industry.

LCP works closely with conservation partners to understand the goals and missions of these organizations along with the specific needs and interests of their membership. Through this knowledge, LCP works to connect and build synergies between conservation organizations and leading manufacturers and industry retailers.

Lead by industry veteran, Tom Stuckey, the LCP team has the experience and relationships to help these groups develop creative ideas to reach more outdoor enthusiasts, while taking their fundraising efforts to new heights. We understand that these groups must have new revenue streams to be successful in the future. LCP has the strength and experience to help open up these opportunities.

“We should all recognize the huge service that these organizations provide in helping to protect and defend the health of our sport and industry – through outreach & advocacy programs, lobbying efforts, species protection initiatives and projects to create and improve recreational opportunities. Their memberships are made up of hundreds of thousands of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts. Our mission is to connect these groups with manufacturers and retailers in the outdoor industry to create strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.” explained LCP Vice President of Business Development, Tom Stuckey.
