This weekend on Northwestern Outdoors Radio we are bringing you audio from two different events! Our first interviews take place in Cle Elum, Washington where an initiative to build a transcontinental rail-trail for hikers, bikers and horseback riders was announced. It's called the Great American Rail Trail and Liz Thorstensen with the Rails to Trails Conservancy, as well as Don Hoch, the Director of the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, will tell you more about this exciting prospect for outdoor recreation. Our other interviews were recorded at the Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Rendezvous in Boise, Idaho.
