Columbus, GA- Realtree Designer and President Bill Jordan used his 35-plus years of experience designing the world’s most versatile and effective camouflage to create a truly revolutionary pattern, new Realtree Excape™.

“Realtree Excape is a real departure from the patterns I’ve created in the past,” said Jordan. “All through its development, I could see that Excape was going to be an incredibly versatile pattern. Once we began testing in the field, we saw that it is much more than just an open country pattern. It blends in nearly everywhere we’ve tried it, plus it breaks up the human outline incredibly. It also simply looks great on clothing and gear.”

Realtree Excape uses a neutral color pallet based off of warm grays and tans found universally in the outdoors. This allows for reflected light to be absorbed by the pattern, transforming it to match the surrounding environment. The pattern features open pockets and non-distinctive shapes filled with a variety of shades and forms. Dark “shadows” around Excape elements create breaks in the pattern that cut the natural silhouette of a human form into indistinguishable parts at longer distances. Up close, a micro pattern is formed inside the pattern elements, mimicking varying elements found in stone and bark.
