Legendary competitive shooter to help lead Staccato’s training, innovation, and brand growth.
FLORENCE, Texas – – Staccato2011®, the creators of the 2011® pistol platform, is thrilled to announce that world champion competitive shooter Max Michel has joined the company as its new Vice President of Training, Marketing, and Brand Ambassadorship.
Michel has been one of the top pistol shooters in the world for nearly three decades, with an unparalleled record that includes thirteen USPSA National Championships, seven Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting titles, IPSC XVII World Champion, repeated IPSC World Shoot team gold medals, a Guinness World Record, and over 300 major championship victories. Known for his precision, consistency and professionalism, values he shares with the Staccato brand, Michel has achieved sustained excellence in a sport where hundredths of a second define the elite.

In his role with Staccato, Michel will utilize his expertise and meticulous attention to detail to lead and expand Staccato’s expert training team alongside renowned instructors Randy Tweedy, KC Eusebio, Michelle Viscusi, and other Staccato brand ambassadors. He will also play a key role in supporting federal, military, and law enforcement partners through training and demonstrations at Staccato Ranch in Texas and Staccato Vegas in Nevada. Additionally, Michel will collaborate with the Staccato product development team to advance the company’s research and innovation, while serving as a front-facing brand ambassador to further elevate Staccato’s growing reputation.
