Whitetails Unlimited Grants More Than $250,000 in Iowa

Whitetails Unlimited has granted $255,646 to various mission-related projects in the state of Iowa over the past fiscal year. More than 90 different organizations received grants pertaining to outdoor education, habitat enhancement, and hunting and shooting sports preservation. This was done in large part with the help of Whitetails Unlimited’s 38 Iowa chapters.

Education is a top priority for WTU and consists of organizational initiatives and activities that facilitate the introduction of youth and their families to the great outdoors. As a strong advocate of hunter safety, Whitetails Unlimited is in the forefront of providing support for hunter education and shooting instructors. Generous portions of these funds were granted to several shooting sport groups throughout the state as well as sports clubs that host hunter safety courses, assist with county conservation projects, and perform outdoor youth teachings.
