73rd annual Pointe Mouillee Waterfowl Festival

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 18-19
Pointe Mouillee State Game Area, Brownstown Township

Hosted by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Pointe Mouillee Waterfowl Festival committee, the festival is one of the longest-running unique events of its kind in Michigan.

Admission is free, so bring the entire family. Festival activities include:

  • Outdoor Trading Post – exhibitor booths selling and trading equipment and supplies. Interested vendors can contact Joe Marra.
  • Huron River Dog Jump Contest.
  • Kids' games and activities.
  • Lake Erie Championship Layout Shoot Saturday.
  • Midwest Duck Calling Championship Saturday.
  • Midwest Goose Calling Championship Sunday.
  • Michigan Duck Hunters’ Tournament Sunday.
  • Live auction at 6 p.m. Saturday.
  • Raffles with exciting prizes.
  • Festival gear and federal duck stamps for sale.
