Indiana: Salt Creek Valley history open house canceled due to flooding

The Salt Creek Valley History Open House scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 17 at Paynetown State Recreation Area at Monroe Lake has been canceled due to lake flooding.

The only road leading to the Paynetown Activity Center, where the event was to be held, is currently under 2 feet of water. Interpretive naturalist Jill Vance plans to reschedule at a later date.
