Silver Kings Set For May Premiere On Outdoor America

Outdoor America, the network for people passionate about outdoor sports and recreation, is proud to announce that it will soon be adding Silver Kings to its digital lineup, beginning in May. Silver Kings will premiere its new season starting May 1 on Outdoor America’s FAST channel, with a broadcast platform debut scheduled for later in 2025.

2025 marks a major milestone for Silver Kings, celebrating its 10th season with over 100 episodes aired. Capt. Jared Raskob, owner and host of Silver Kings, is still having a blast making the show and says the excitement hasn’t worn off.

"This series aims to thrill, educate, and inform viewers. And yes, to entertain. The goal is to help viewers understand the high-stakes game of fly fishing for giant tarpon, to teach viewers the hidden tricks of the bonefishing trade, and to make viewers better anglers than before joining this salty brotherhood,” said Capt. Jared Raskob.

"We are beyond excited to help Silver Kings grow their audience by partnering with them digitally and on our broadcast platform,” said Jamie Wilkinson, Executive Vice President of Outdoor America. "Working with Jared and his crew to bring Silver Kings into more homes reinforces our commitment to anglers and outdoor enthusiasts.”

In its tenth year, Silver Kings has become standard viewing for bonefishing aficionados. Raskob, along with co-owner, guide, and photographer Capt. Greg Dini and producers Marty Dashell and James Massey work to transform the art of saltwater fishing into an up-close encounter with the sport for their viewers. Along with the program, Silver Kings partners with Bonefish & Tarpon Trust to help raise awareness of Florida’s water quality issues, including altered hydrology in the Everglades, failing and outdated wastewater infrastructure, pharmaceutical contaminants, and glyphosate pollutionWater quality is critical for marine ecosystems, fisheries, and the many Floridians who depend on clean water for their livelihoods, recreation, and quality of life.
